Andrew Garfield Spends an Emotional and Tearful Night Shooting The Amazing Spider-Man

Andrew Garfield took a solo spin around the set of The Amazing Spider-Man in NYC last night before getting down to business in front of the cameras. He chatted with the director and rehearsed lines with costar Martin Sheen before they started rolling on a pivotal scene in which Peter Parker, Andrew’s character, witnesses Uncle Ben, played by Martin, pass away. So far, most of Andrew’s scenes have been shared with Emma Stone. She wasn’t on hand for the late-night shoot but she’s still holding onto her lead over Andrew in the PopSugar 100’s category of hottest rising stars - there’s plenty of time to cast your votes and share them on Facebook to be entered into a drawing to win one of four awesome prizes!
